First let me start of by saying, almost embarrassingly that I don't know how to use Photo Shop.. I have Adobe Photoshop 6 and all the books for dummies ..I still cant grasp it...
I use Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10...It is similar PS, but really not even close....It doesn't have all the wonderful brushes I want to play with.. it does have special effects..and transparent brushes..tint brushes. I am familiar with Microsoft.. and I can get the results I want....quicker..When you are creating, at least with me.. I need to do it right then or I forget it.... I want to see it finished as soon as I can..I Purchase a lot of collage sheets from Esty.com , I will gather a list with links so you can see their work...I also buy from Deviant Scrap which is a wonderful place to get elements and kits http://www.deviantscrap.com/.
And I belong to several online sites for digital Artists...where we can share our pieces and submit entry's to contests..I have met so many wonderful creative people on these sites..

My favorite thing to do is to find a quote from my collections and do a digital Art piece depicting the quote...or sometimes I challenge myself and randomly choose 4 to 5 elements and I have to make a piece from those..
I used to be an artist..loved watercolor and oils.. I was a graphics designer way before there were computers.. everything including lettering was hand drawn..I would paste it up cut the different layers and colors out separately on this orange peel of paper I can for the life of me think of the name of it..used a exacto knife to cut with..back in the early 70's...So I am old...but still love to create..and like doing it on the computer so much more..If you don't like it you can just click undo...
